It's important to get into a good routine with your hair extensions from the start, so your hair can last a lifetime!

1. Brush your extensions carefully using a wide-toothed comb. Don't forget to wait for them to be at least 90% dry before brushing. Start from the bottom of your hair and work your way up.
*Also, if you don't have fixed extensions, don't forget to brush them before storing them. When storing your extensions, it is essential that they are DRY and stored in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight. We recommend that you loosely tie the extensions together with a hair ribbon and place them in your Khair box.

2. When washing your hair extensions, look for products that help lock in moisture, as your extensions do not receive the same natural oils as your own hair. We highly recommend applying a professional-grade moisturizing hair mask twice a week, as well as after going to the beach or pool.

3. Avoid products that contain parabens, sulfates, formaldehyde, and alcohols such as propanol, SD, isopropyl, and ethyl alcohol. These will dry out your hair, which can lead to more hair loss.

4. Excessive washing leads to shorter lifespan. If you have repaired hair extensions, we recommend washing them 1-2 times a week. If you don't have fixed hair extensions, we recommend washing them 1-2 times a month to make them last as long as possible.

5. Using heat on your hair is fine since it is 100% human hair. However, the less you do, the longer your extensions will last. If you are someone who likes to heat your hair, don't forget to apply a heat protectant to prevent damage.

6. Finally, avoid using too much product on your hair extensions in general. The more products you use (such as sprays, gels, etc.), the more you will have to wash them. However, we recommend using Argan Serum as a finishing touch - it protects your hair and prevents dryness, as well as leaving it looking elegant and shiny!
